It's apparently just dawned on William Kristol and Rich Lowry that the war isn't going awfully well, so they're on the op-ed page of The Washington Post arguing that we need more troops in Iraq.

A lefty critique of this argument might note that increasing troop strength now is like closing the barn door after the animals (the hounds of hell, in this case) have escaped -- but the right-wing critique is a bit more, er, down to earth. I take you to Free Republic:

girlymen not happy with Bush

Kristol has been barking up the same tree for years, while on his knees in front of John psycho McCain. Lowry is going along for the ride as his boyfriend, most likely.

Funny. These limpwrists know better than the real generals, huh.

If Kristol was in the Navy. he'd be a Rear Admiral.

****

Can't you just picture Kristol and Lowry meeting on weekends with their miniature army men and maps of Baghdad, plotting their strategy?

I shot your guy. No ya didnt.. Yes I did.. I am going home your not playin fair.

If we don't get our way we'll hit you with our purses!! What a couple of whimps.
