Christopher Hitchens, who apparently believes that Catholics shouldn't be allowed to sit on the Supreme Court, thinks Cindy Sheehan is an anti-Semite. Curious.

And Hitch goes on to say that, yes, Lincoln famously consoled a distressed soldier's mother, but he'd have been well within his rights not to meet with such a mother twice. Alas for Hitchens, it appears that Lincoln did meet with a distressed soldier's mother twice.

Just for the record, Hitch has a 21-year-old son -- American-born but raised mostly in England.
