And what the hell is going on in the anthrax case? Here's an AP story and a New York Post story about raids on three homes owned by Kenneth Berry, a doctor who advocates widespread distribution of the anthrax vaccine. But the Post story says,

One source claimed Berry was cooperating with authorities and the raids were aimed at eliminating him from the list of suspects.

So what's going on? Are we getting closer to cracking the case? Or is this just an effort to show that something is being done?

Just as in the case of al-Qaeda, it seems the Bushies lost interest for a couple of years, then regained focus only when an election was coming up. Either way, that's playing politics with Americans' safety.
