If you have a spare minute, you might want to stop by the site of the Independent Women's Forum.

You know the IWF -- Lynne Cheney is an emerita director, Barbara Olson was a founding member, Michael Ledeen's wife was a founder, board members include conservative pundits Linda Chavez, Laura Ingraham, and Kate O'Beirne, conservative scholar Abigail Thernstrom, and conservative speechwriter Lisa Schiffren, other board members have histories at the Family Research Council, American Enterprise Institute, and Manhattan Institute, funding has come from multiple Scaife foundations and the Olin Foundation* ...

Well, the IWF wants you to sign a petition calling for a nonpartisan 9/11 commission.

"We, the undersigned, object to using the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the United States to assign blame for the 9/11 attacks anywhere other than where it properly belongs: on Osama Bin Laden and his terrorist network."

By all means go and drop them a line. Tell them that, yes, you're furious that they and their ideological soul mates keep trying to assign the blame for 9/11 to Bill Clinton, Jamie Gorelick, Richard Clarke, Sandy Berger, Madeleine Albright, John Kerry....
